Scooter Tricks - Andorra La Vella
Sometimes you end up somewhere you never expected.
I had planned on traveling to Andorra to hike. Scratch that, I hadn't even planned on driving to Andorra from Girona, but like all plans, they are meant to change. In my case, I found myself at a skate pack in the center of Andorra La Vella, watching kids do tricks on a half-pipe... on scooters.
Andorra itself is a small, mountainous, landlocked country between Spain and France. It is best known as a ski destination, and a tax-free haven. As I wandered the streets looking for a guesthouse, I kept seeing kids on their scooters heading towards the center. So I followed.
I'll be honest, I didn't know that kids did tricks on scooters.
Either way, in the sea of scooter kids, there was one skater. Really, what do I know, I skated on inlines as a kid...
