Wrinkles of the City captures the work of street artist JR in the spring of 2013 in Berlin, Germany.

Here, JR portrays older people who have lived through the changes and upheavals of their city. Where their own life stories and experience show up in their facial features, so too does Berlin’s history on the buildings where these portraits found a home. The wrinkles are both human, and architectural.
